Photo Tips
Digital cameras are now very popular and most orders we receive are for converting digital photos to cross stitch charts.
Simply email us your digital photo and we will assess its suitability for conversion to a pattern. If unsuitable, we will advise you via return email and no charge will be made.
We will also advise you on how best to crop or frame your photograph. For instance most personal or group photos look better when they show just head and shoulders rather than a full body shot.
For patterns of people or pets, the face detail is the most important especially the pupils in the eye. If we cannot get the eye detail correct then we will usually advise against converting your picture.
Conventional Photographs
Most studio photographs or portraits make fabulous patterns when scanned and turned into a cross stitch or tapestry chart.
When sending via normal post, please make sure it is a good quality photo with no shadows or cluttered backgrounds.
Privacy Policy
Your photos are private and for our eyes only. If unsuitable for conversion we will delete them from our computer. All personal images are deleted after the finished chart has been sent
